Análisis

In January 2011, 91% of the companies with an Internet connection used it to access banking and financial services. After the decrease of 11 percentage points shown in 2008, currently percentages return to levels similar to those of 2003 (December).

Financial and banking services via the Internet continue to grow, and companies with Internet access use these technologies to make their financial and banking operations. Over the last few years, banks not only have evolved technically, but also have launched more services for customers on the Internet. Banking has become a critical service to foster the use of new technologies by companies, irrespective of their size.

By company size, results of a survey conducted in January 2011 show parity between the various companies. The value for companies with 250 or more employees is only 2.1 above of that for companies with 10 to 49.

With regard to companies with less than 10 employees, 72.1% of them use financial and banking services via the Internet.
