The downward trend shown by the data available reveals the increasing use of the Internet in everyday life. In fact, according to Eurostat data, in 2010 only 32% of Spaniards had never used the Internet, 17 percentage points less than in 2005. In Europe, we observe the same downward trend. Particularly, the percentage of individuals who had never used the Internet was 43% in 2005, while in 2010 this percentage was 26%.
