Análisis
At the end of 2010 the number of direct access customers who hired fixed telephone services was 20.2 millions. This represents a decrease of 0.15% compared to the previous year (20.23 millions). Telefónica lost a total of 4.5% of its direct access customers in 2010. This could be explained by the investments made by alternative operators and their succesful commercial offers, which resulted in an increase in their total number of direct access customers, at Telefónica’s expense.
