Análisis

In January 2007, 31.7% of all companies had computer systems to manage their orders and purchases.

This was the case, specially, for large companies: 74.4% of them had computer solutions in place to manage company purchases and order reception. The percentage of companies with 50 to 249 employees with those systems in place rose from 45% to 46.7%, while small companies ranked 28.5%.

Order management can be directly linked to various internal and external systems in companies. It can be linked to logistics and warehouse control systems, the invoicing department or the outside. In the same way, they can be linked to the providers' systems or the customers' purchase systems.
