Internet access through UMTS (3G) mobile phone networks recorded values of 7% in EU-27 in 2010, three points more than in 2009. A more detailed analysis reveals that, within the EU-27, Northern European countries record the highest percentages. Luxemburg and Sweden, which scored values 13 points above the European average, are at the top of the list. In Spain, Internet access through UMTS (3G) mobile phone networks recorded values of 13% in 2010, 6 percentage points above the EU-27 average.
