7% of the Spanish population used the Internet for downloading video games or their updates in 2008, only two points behind of the total European population but ahead of countries like France, Belgium, Austria and Italy. In Europe, percentages range from 4% in Italy and 18% in Germany. This indicator has only been measured in 2008 so we cannot analyse the historical evolution of it.

The sample is composed of individuals between the ages of 16 and 74 years.
